FAQs
who is the daily practice for?
The Daily Practice is for people who want to get stronger, move better, feel more capable in their bodies, and build a sustainable relationship with fitness. You don't need to be an experienced lifter, know exactly what you're doing, or have your goals perfectly figured out.
You just need to be willing to show up and practice.
You have questions. I have answers.
Starting something new can come with a lot of little questions.
Where do we train? Do I need a gym membership? Which service is right for me? What if I don't know what I'm doing?
This is where you can find the answers to the things you're probably wondering before you start.
And if your question isn't here, you can always ask.
do I need to be in shape before i start?
Absolutely not.
You don't have to earn the right to work with a trainer. We start with where you are—not where you think you should be.
the basics
DO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I WANT BEFORE I REACH OUT?
Nope.
You can come to me with a very specific goal, a general idea of what you want, or a very honest “I don't know what I'm doing.”
That's part of what the consultation is for.
We'll talk through where you are, where you want to go, and what kind of coaching makes the most sense for you.
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SERVICE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
You don't have to figure that out by yourself.
You can have a package in mind when you come into your consultation, but I'll still make a professional recommendation based on your goals, experience, schedule, preferences, and what I learn about you.
You always get the final say.
does the daily practice have an age requirement?
The Daily Practice currently accepts clients 18 years of age or older at this time. If you are seeking services for someone under 18, you may still fill out an inquiry form and we may have a service option that is right for your minor.
what is everfit?
Everfit is the app that houses your selected Practice.
Your training program, nutrition guidance, habit tracking, payments, communication, check-ins, and coaching all live in one place.
where does the daily practice train?
The Daily Practice operates out of a private training facility.
Your exact location is provided when your consultation or training session is booked.
in-person training
Do i need a membership to train with tdp?
Nope.
You don't need a membership to another gym. The Daily Practice operates exclusively out of a private training facility. All services are exclusively through The Daily Practice and give you access to our training facility during your scheduled sessions with your coach.
how do i get into the facility?
The facility is private and locked 24/7.
When you arrive, simply text Kailee using the phone number provided in your Google Calendar invitation and she'll let you in.
what should i wear?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move and sweat in.
And bring water.
Seriously. Bring water. I mean it.
what should i bring to my consultation?
Yourself, water, and an open mind.
You don't need to show up knowing how to do everything. That's my job.
How early should i arrive?
CONSULTATIONS: please arrive promptly at your scheduled time.
30-minute PRIVATE SESSIONS: please arrive 15 minutes early for your self-guided warm-up and preparation.
60-minute PRIVATE SESSIONS: do include your preparation time within the scheduled session. You may still arrive up to 15 minutes early for warm up cardio.
what is the movement assement like during the consult?
For in-person clients, your consultation includes a movement assessment that may feel more like a short workout than a traditional assessment. I'll use it to observe how you move, get a better understanding of your body, and start thinking about how we can train together.
It isn't about passing or failing a test. It's about giving me more information so I can coach you better.
do i need to have a group to begin the collective practice?
Ideally, yes.
If you've already got your people, designate one person to submit the initial inquiry.
I'll send an application to each member of your group so everyone can complete their own paperwork before your group consultation.
the collective practice
what if i want a group but i don't have the peeps to start?
You can still submit an inquiry and let me know you're interested. Your consultation won't be scheduled until a group has been formed.
The Daily Practice will manage the waitlist and, when possible, connect people who are looking for a Collective with compatible goals and preferences.
(Group matching is not guaranteed, but I'll do my best to make thoughtful connections when the opportunity exists.)
does everyone in the group get individual coaching?
Yes.
Your Collective follows a shared program built around your group's goals, but I'll still coach each person as an individual.
That means individual feedback, corrections, modifications, and attention throughout your session.
what happens if my collective loses a member?
The Collective is designed for groups of 2–4 people. If your group changes, we'll determine the best next step based on your new group size and current service agreement.
Do I need to live locally to do online coaching?
No.
The Digital Practice is designed to give you professional coaching from wherever you are.**CURRENTLY SERVICING MISSOURI CLIENTS ONLY**
the digital practice
Do I need to be experienced in the gym for online coaching?
You should be reasonably comfortable exercising independently.
The Digital Practice is not designed for someone who is brand new to structured training, isn't confident exercising independently, or needs hands-on instruction to feel safe and comfortable with their movement.
If that's you, in-person coaching may be the better place to start.
what do i get with online coaching?
Every Digital Practice membership includes:
- Everfit access
- Training programming
- Macro recommendations & Nutrition Guidance
- Coach communication and support
Your level of coaching, check-in frequency, program adjustments, and response time depend on the Digital Practice tier you choose.
How quickly will I get my digital program?
Your initial program will be delivered within 72 hours of payment processing.
You'll also have a short 15-minute onboarding call to help you get comfortable with Everfit and your new practice.
How often does my online program change?
That depends on your Digital Practice tier and, more importantly, you.
Your initial program is selected based on your goals and experience. From there, your programming evolves as you do.
The more time we spend practicing, checking in, and learning what works for you, the more specifically I can adjust your training.
memberships & cancellations
Recurring memberships have a 30-day minimum commitment. Membership cancellation requests must be made directly to The Daily Practice at least 14 days before your next billing date. Full cancellation details are provided when you sign up
good things to know
do you offer hybrid coaching?
Sometimes. The Daily Practice occasionally offers flexible hybrid arrangements for clients who are a particularly good fit for combining in-person and digital coaching. These aren't part of the standard service menu, so mention it in your inquiry if you're interested.
nutrition + Scope of Practice
Every recurring package includes nutrition guidance, including personalized macro recommendations, practical strategies, and recipe suggestions. As a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, I provide education and guidance—not medical nutrition therapy.
I’m also not a doctor or medical provider. I don't diagnose or treat medical conditions, and training will always stay within my scope of practice. If something falls outside that scope or raises a health concern, I'll refer you to the appropriate healthcare professional.
Individual needs
Your programming can be adapted around your goals, experience, movement needs, preferences, and relevant limitations—within my scope of practice. If you have an injury or medical condition, tell me during your application and consultation so we can determine what’s appropriate.
